How to Get Approval for Residents Returning to UAE from India and other Countries ?

Those who wish to return to UAE must apply for a resident’s entry permit first. They also have to comply with the guidelines declared by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority and Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship.

The Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai has clarified that the conditions for residents returning to Dubai include the following: Residents are required to apply for an entry permit through the General Directorate of permit Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai website. Certificate must be presented proving they have tested negative in a valid PCR test before boarding the plane and on arrival at the airport. All returning residents must download the COVID-19 DXB Smart App The mandatory 14 day quarantine is not required for residents that have presented a negative test result certificate – at the airport.

This is for GDRFA Return Permit for Resident outside UAE – Dubai.

Take a COVID‑19 PCR test from Approved laboratory

Travelers are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test at an accredited lab.
The test result must be negative for no more than 96 hours before departure.
